anybody have or found any good recipies using the hops we got from CABCO? i found this one what do you think?
American Wheat:
5# Pale Malt
5# Wheat
1.5# Vienna
1oz Liberty 60 min.
1oz Liberty 20 min.
Mash at 152 degrees
Wyeast 1010 or WLP001/1056/S05

A wheat would be a good change of pace too. Last year we took all 4 hops we received and specified the number of oz you had to use and it was up to the brewer to pick which hops to use for each quantity. The grain bill was the same for everyone but we were able to choose 1# of a specialty grain of our choice. One thing I would change with that would be the just a specialty grain of your choice and you can specify the amount.

Lets get an actual agreed upon recipe going and get this done :) The barrel beers are pretty much done, so lets do another competition. What about the other hops like the Glacier? Anyways, post the recipe either in the notes section or in a new forum for everybody to see. Should be fun!

2 oz Liberty flame out
1.5 lbs (my own honey) at flame out
will dry hop with 1 oz Chinook

Permalink Reply by Jake Wisgerhof on March 9, 2012 at 9:57am oh man i like this idea a lot. if you guys wouldnt mind a little drive west here in adel at evans park has a nice 9 hole course with a shelter in the middle we could reserve and the website says there is no charge for local nonprofit/civic organizations. I couldnt find any rules about alcohol...i suppose if they kick us out beer pong and flippy cup at my house
