The Fifth Annual Des Moines' Cityview Brewfest is set for July 9th from 3-7 at Principal Park, downtown Des Moines. The event, which is presented by Hy-Vee stores, will expand to utilize both levels of the concourse this year as a result of increased attendance and varieties to sample. This provides the perfect setting for Brewfest rain or shine and allows for easy access to amenities such as restrooms and concessions in addition to free parking. Discount tickets for the event are available through the Iowa Cubs (online or at the box office) or at any Des Moines area Hy-Vee store's customer service counter.

Experts from the breweries will also be on hand to share their knowledge about their brews as well as discuss future releases from their respective breweries. Attendees will be able to utilize a free Beer Genius application on their smart phones to provide an interactive guide to the event. A printed guide and map with tasting notes will be available as well. A portion of the proceeds from Des Moines' Cityview Brewfest will once again benefit the Kiwanis Miracle League of Iowa www.kiwanismiracleleague.org

Food will be available for purchase through concessions at Principal Park. Safe Rides will be available following the event should they be needed. Contact event representatives on site for more details. Free parking is available in all ballpark lots.
