Event Description

AHA Big Brew is a celebration of National Homebrew Day (May 7th). Each year homebrewers around the world invite family and friends to their brewing site on the first Saturday in May to celebrate the holiday. Everyone is encouraged to help out with the brew, enjoy the fun and join in on a world-wide toast at noon Central time.

Recipes that we are brewing - East India Pale Ale and Must Be The Season of the Wit and extract version of Rocket Rod's Positively Porter.

Beer Crazy is also offering 10% off brewing ingredients for the brewers who are participating and brewing at the IBU sponsored National Homebrew Day event at El Bait Shop on May 7th, 2011. If you're interested just stop by the store.

The 10% off will only apply to brewing ingredients that are in-stock, purchased at Beer Crazy and will be used to brew beer at the event.

Comment by Matt Melcher on April 25, 2011 at 8:23pm: interesting thought. I think the plan is just to keg the beers and bring them to a future meeting. If someone wants to come over and keg and clean up afterwards I'll be happy to observe and give instruction ;-)
